Dr. Jill Rosenthal
Jill Rosenthal, M.D., M.P.H., FACOEM, is Senior Vice President and Medical Officer at The Zenith Insurance Company.
Dr. Rosenthal received her B.A. from Duke University and M.D. from the University of Illinois. In addition, Dr.
Rosenthal earned a Masters degree in public health as well as a Master’s degree in sociology – both of which encompass
safety, health, and risk behaviors – from the University of Illinois and is Board Certified in Occupational and
Environmental Medicine by the American Board of Preventative Medicine.
Dr. Rosenthal is the President of the Florida Component of the American College of Occupational and Environmental
Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. She was appointed by
Florida’s Surgeon General to the Florida Prescription Drug Monitoring Program Foundation Board of Directors and is
a member of its Executive Committee. She presents at national, regional, and local conferences multiple times each year.
Dr. Rosenthal was the Area Medical Director for Concentra in South Florida. Dr. Rosenthal also served as the Medical
Director for General Motors in Doraville, Georgia; for Midwest Generation in Chicago, Illinois; for Evanston-Northwestern
Hospital’s Employee Health Department; and for two Johnson and Johnson companies, Cordis and Microtyping Solutions.
Dr. Rosenthal also acted as the Medical Director and Infection Control Officer for the City of West Palm Beach’s Fire
and Police Departments. In addition, she has served as a Physician Advisor for SBC-Smart Disability Program, Broadspire,
General Electric, and Federal Occupational Health. Dr. Rosenthal examined patients for the World Trade Center Worker and
Volunteer Screening Program from its inception until May 2010.
Dr. Rosenthal is a mother of four children and lives in Boca Raton, Florida.
